Why print direct

Before you sign that vinyl quote.
A vinyl quote prices the material and the compromise. Ours prices the finished wall.

What clients say
“It came out awesome. I'm blown away by the quality […] and it was half the price of my vinyl quote.”
“Completely changed how we felt in our office. The process was quick, easy, and fun. We called it 'Mural Day!'”
“We're working with a new graphics company that uses a vertical printer to get our graphics on the wall. The good news with this vs vinyl is that it opens up the opportunity to 'have fun' and get more creative with the graphics.”
FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is direct-to-wall printing?
Direct-to-wall printing uses a vertical printer to apply UV-stable ink straight onto an existing wall — drywall, brick, block, or concrete. There's no vinyl, no adhesive, and no material layer between the artwork and the wall: the wall itself becomes the mural.
How much does a printed wall mural cost?
Pricing depends on wall size, surface, and artwork. Printed murals are frequently more affordable than a comparable vinyl installation once wall prep and install labor are counted — and there's a fast way to find out: send us your vinyl quote and we'll give you a direct, line-by-line comparison for your wall.
How long does installation take?
Hours, not days. Most walls are printed in a single visit and the space is back in use the same day. There's no adhesive cure time and no multi-day install crew.
What surfaces can you print on?
Standard drywall, lightly textured walls, brick, block, and concrete — indoors and out. Vinyl needs a smooth, prepped surface; direct printing doesn't.
How durable is a printed mural compared to vinyl?
Printed murals use UV-stable ink bonded directly to the wall, so there are no seams to split and no edges to lift, peel, or bubble over time. When you want a change, the wall is painted over and reprinted.
Where does MuralPros work?
MuralPros is based in Asheville, North Carolina. Serving Asheville and everywhere within three hours — and beyond for the right project.
Can you print our existing brand artwork?
Yes. Send your brand files and we'll prepare them for the wall — or our design team can create the mural with you from scratch. Most projects go from approved art to printed wall within days.
